Choreography, Drama and Voice
Video and Digital Communication
From September 18th to October 09th 2016, the Dar Eyquem Association housed a residency for artists under the artistic direction of the Tunisian choreographer Nawel Skandrani.
This residency offer a multi-disciplinary course that will mix Contemporary Dance with different art forms, such as Dramaturgy, Voice Work, Live Music and Video.
The course also have a multimedia dimension with, in addition to the Video Workshop, a workshop on Digital Communication.
The course of Performing Arts, entitled «Choreography, Drama and Voice», address a group of fifteen young professionals from Dance, Theatre and Circus.
The Multi-Media Workshop, titled «Video and Digital Communication,» address a group of ten young professionals from the Cinema, Visual Arts and Digital Communication.
Besides the proposed development in each discipline, the main objective of this course is to enable young artists to face a unifying vision of creating these components, the choreography being the center.

This is a video report of a first experiment of the workshop in November 2014, in the House of Culture Abou Kacem Chebbi Ben Arous, with the sustain of the Arab Center for Theatre Education (ATTC - Amman, Jordan) the Carthage Theatre Days (JTC - Tunis, Tunisia) and the help of the Open Art Association (Ben Arous, Tunisia) and the French Institute of Tunisia (IFT - Tunis, Tunisia).
